class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>A pocs quil\u00f2metres del nucli urb\u00e0 de Moixent, a la <strong><em>Serra Grossa<\/em><\/strong>, es troba la <strong>presa del Bosquet<\/strong>, un embassament hist\u00f2ric que forma un llac artificial al centre d\u2019una foia tancada envoltada per muntanyes com <strong>el Picaio, la Serra de la Talaia, Covatelles i la Balarma<\/strong>. \u00c9s un rac\u00f3 molt especial perqu\u00e8 combina patrimoni i hist\u00f2ria amb un entorn natural de gran bellesa. La presa i el seu sistema associat estan declarats <strong>B\u00e9 d\u2019Inter\u00e9s Cultural (BIC)<\/strong>, i visitar el Bosquet hui \u00e9s, alhora, fer un passeig tranquil i acostar-se a una obra clau per a entendre com s\u2019aprofitava l\u2019aigua en una terra majorit\u00e0riament de sec\u00e0. La seua funci\u00f3 principal va ser retenir i gestionar l\u2019aigua per al reg de les hortes i, al seu moment, tamb\u00e9 per a ajudar el funcionament de la vida agr\u00edcola de la la Il\u00b7lustraci\u00f3 impulsaren millores agr\u00edcoles i obres p\u00fabliques. La documentaci\u00f3 relaciona la seua construcci\u00f3 amb <strong>Pascual Caro<\/strong>, administrador del patrimoni del <strong>Marqu\u00e9s de la Romana<\/strong>, i amb eixe objectiu \u201cmodern\u201d de racionalitzar el reg en un territori dif\u00edcil per a introduir regadiu. De fet, el naturalista <strong>Cavanilles<\/strong> ja descrigu\u00e9 en les seues visites el canvi que observ\u00e0 a Moixent: el creixement de poblaci\u00f3 i la transformaci\u00f3 de camps abans poc productius en <strong>hortes f\u00e8rtils<\/strong>, gr\u00e0cies a noves s\u00e9quies i El vas t\u00e9 aproximadament <strong>100 metres d\u2019ampl\u00e0ria per 200 metres de llarg\u00e0ria, amb una profunditat actual pr\u00f2xima als 8 metres i una capacitat estimada de 160.000 m\u00b3<\/strong>. Amb este volum, el sistema <strong>podia regar al voltant de 4,33<\/strong> hect\u00e0rees, una xifra molt significativa per al context agr\u00edcola local. L\u2019embassament arreplega aigua de distintes fonts: d\u2019una banda, les escorrenties de les muntanyes pr\u00f2ximes i el mateix <strong>Barranc del Bosquet<\/strong> (sobre el qual se situa), i d\u2019una altra, aportacions associades al reg, com les de pous i els excedents de la <strong>Font de la Teula<\/strong>, situada a la cua de El Sector B \u00e9s l\u2019espai entre el <strong>dic 1r<\/strong> (aig\u00fces amunt) i el <strong>dic 2n<\/strong> (aig\u00fces avall), amb elements t\u00e8cnics com <strong>desaig\u00fces<\/strong>, un <strong>pou de drenatge<\/strong> i <strong>contraforts<\/strong> que reforcen els trams m\u00e9s delicats. El Sector C est\u00e0 aig\u00fces avall i inclou el sistema original d\u2019irrigaci\u00f3, hui en gran part fora de servei: <strong>canals<\/strong>, <strong>s\u00e8quies<\/strong> i <strong>ramals<\/strong> que distribu\u00efen l\u2019aigua cap a hortes situades a banda i banda del Tot aix\u00f2 s\u2019integra en un entorn de gran riquesa: destaquen les <strong>carrasques centen\u00e0ries<\/strong> (que donen nom al paratge), els pins carrascos i plantes molt lligades a la
