tros de la seua hist\u00f2ria. Rec\u00f3rrer els seus carrers convida a deixar-se portar per racons amb mem\u00f2ria. El passeig pel nucli antic es convertix en un ascens natural cap a la Torre Mora, un antic baluard defensiu de l\u2019\u00e8poca almohade que hui s\u2019erigix com un dels s\u00edmbols m\u00e9s caracter\u00edstics del perfil urb\u00e0. Seguint el cam\u00ed cap a la part alta, s\u2019arriba al Castell, una fortalesa que va tindre un paper clau com a punt de vigil\u00e0ncia i control de la vall. Hui, els dos monuments transcendixen el seu passat defensiu per a convertir-se en miradors la part alta del poble. De probable origen almohade (s. XII), es tracta d\u2019una torre albarrana pel fet de situar-se fora del recinte fortificat del castell. S\u2019al\u00e7a sobre una penya i domina la vall amb vistes \u00e0mplies i molt fotog\u00e8niques. El cam\u00ed fins a ella convida a caminar sense pressa, gaudir de l\u2019entorn i entendre, en arribar, per qu\u00e8 este punt va ser clau per a la vigil\u00e0ncia del El conjunt destaca pel seu via crucis i el relleu accidentat que l\u2019envolta, i ha sigut objecte de diverses restauracions que n\u2019han preservat l\u2019ess\u00e8ncia com a lloc de devoci\u00f3 i mirador excepcional. \u00c9s un rac\u00f3 de pau ideal per a gaudir d\u2019unes vistes panor\u00e0miques incomparables de Moixent, i \u00e9s el cor de les festes de Sant Pere, al voltant del 29 de juny, quan el poble s\u2019ompli d\u2019ambient i tradici\u00f3&#8230;\u00a0Reconstru\u00efda entre 1880 i 1889, despr\u00e9s del terratr\u00e9mol de Montesa de 1748, destaca pel seu aire neog\u00f2tic, amb un campanar en forma d\u2019agulla i un gran roset\u00f3 que criden l\u2019atenci\u00f3 des de l\u2019entrada al municipi. A l\u2019interior, la visita es completa amb vitralls, pintures murals i retaules del segle XIX, i destaca la capella de les Santes Rel\u00edquies, on es troba el sepulcre del francisc\u00e0 fra Crist\u00f2fol Moreno (1520-1603), una figura de gran rellev\u00e0ncia per a la Des d\u2019ac\u00ed s\u2019ent\u00e9n molt b\u00e9 la relaci\u00f3 de Moixent amb el paisatge: per este punt passa un rierol que baixa del Bosquet i acaba unint-se al riu C\u00e0nyoles al seu pas per la poblaci\u00f3. A m\u00e9s, \u00e9s un lloc \u201cfrontissa\u201d per a continuar explorant: a l\u2019altura de l\u2019asut ixen les escales que pugen cap a la Torre dels Coloms (Torre Mora) i la Cova del Pare Es troba a la zona del carrer del Bosquet, molt a prop de l\u2019assut i baix de la Cova del Pare Moreno, per la qual cosa encaixa molt b\u00e9 com a pausa abans de continuar cap a la part alta del nucli antic.
